IRVINE WINS FIRST PRIZE FOR WORST XMAS DECORATIONS OF 2017

Irvine is a town in North Ayrshire with a population of 33,698 or 39,527 (according to two conflicting entries on Wikipedia).

The vast majority are Christian or of "Christian origin," so you would think that Xmas would be a big deal or at least the excuse for a few decorations. But apparently North Ayrshire Council, which administers the town, disagrees as this photograph of the town centre sent to us by a friend shows. It was taken on the 22nd of December. It looks like somebody literally threw a cheap string of lights on a solitary tree and then went off to get pissed.

How to explain this? Possibly the council has completely run out of money or has been taken over by militant Marxist atheists. But if either of these were true, then it wouldn't have money for anything else either. Also the council is split between the three main parties as follows: Labour 11 councilors, SNP 11, Conservatives 7, Independent 4), so I don't quite see the rampant atheist Marxism either. So, this is still a mystery.

HOW AYRSHIRE VOTED 2017 (WESTMINSTER)

In the 2017 general election to the Westminster Parliament, the four Ayrshire constituencies voted as follows:

They Serve Us: Ayrshire's MPs (1) Dr. Philippa Whitford, SNP

Dr. Philippa Whitford is a 59-year-old Palestinian-supporting, overweight, Catholic Irish woman who has been the Westminster MP for the Central Ayrshire constituency since 2015. She is a doctor by profession, having worked many years in Crosshouse Hospital. I probably know people she has treated. She was born in Northern Ireland and is married to a German doctor, Dr. Pieper.

Although a Catholic and married to a German, she prefers to keep these points out of the public eye, going by her maiden name. This could also signify that she is an extreme feminist or hard leftist.

After I found out that she was a big supporter of the Palestinians -- she spent 18 months working in a hospital in Gaza around 1988 during the uprising against Israel -- I suspected she was also Catholic. Palestinian-supporting "Scottish" politicians, like George Galloway, often are. My researches then confirmed this when I found the following article: Get involved in politics, Catholic MP urges Church

The article is interesting because it shows that while she keeps her Catholicism hidden from the normal voters in her constituency, she networks heavily with the Irish Catholic and crypto-Irish-Catholic community, and that these communities appear to use "Scottish nationalism" to pursue their own anti-British agenda, which is mainly based on ancient antipathies rather than present needs.

Check out this quote:
"Ms Whitford, a consultant breast surgeon prior to entering parliament in 2015, said that ‘nine out of 11 of our local priests voted Yes’ in the 2014 referendum on Scottish Independence. 'Now they will not come out in the pulpit and say vote Yes, and it’s the same in the general election,' she said. 'They don’t say vote SNP, but they do stand up and say things like ‘Trident is immoral,’—I’ll leave it for you to work out."

The evidence suggests that Whitford is a secret hard leftist, with a strong emotional connection to Irish and Arab nationalism, as opposed to Scottish nationalism. It is also highly probable that she is strongly opposed to the state of Israel and may even have some "anti-Semitic" or "anti-Zionist" leanings, depending on how you view these things.

Her time in Gaza was the emotional high point of her life. She often goes back.

PLAN DO TO AWAY WITH PURELY AYRSHIRE CONSTITUENCIES

Ayrshire is set to lose its clear identity at Westminster after proposed boundary changes to the electoral districts for parliamentary elections. Up until now, Ayrshire has been divided into four parliamentary constituencies that cover the whole of Ayrshire, namely:

  • Ayr, Carrick, and Cumnock
  • Kilmarnock and Loudon
  • Central Ayrshire
  • North Ayrshire and Arran

Needless to say, this gives Ayrshire a distinct identity at Westminster, with 4 MPs representing solely Ayrshire constituencies.

Now, however, under proposals for boundary changes to come into effect in 2018, two of Ayrshire's four parliamentary constituencies will be mixed with parts of our rival county of Refrewshire. Even worse, the parts of Ayrshire that will be included in these new constituencies will be dominated by the Renfrewshire parts of the constituencies.

One proposed constituency - Refrewshire West - will see the Ayrshire coast North of Ardrossan basically annexed to the Refrewshire towns of Johnstone, Linwood, and Loch Winnoch.

The other proposed constituency - Eastwood and Loudon - will see a vast part of Eastern Ayrshire, including the town of Stewarton and the upper Irvine Valley, annexed to some Glasgow suburbs, including Newton Mearns, the center of Scotland's Jewish community.

If the proposals are passed there will be only three Ayrshire constituencies:

  • Arran and Cunninghame (Irvine, etc.)
  • Kilmarnock, Cumnock, and Doon Valley
  • Ayr and Carrick

Needless to say these changes are a net negative for Ayrshire by diluting our strong identity at Westminster and  subordinating large tracts of our beautiful countryside to non-Ayrshire urban conurbations.
