There has been no more divisive issue in Scottish politics in recent years than the question of Scottish Independence. Ayrshire was pretty much split by the Referendum in 2014. But just how split was it? Looking at things on a ward by ward basis, with blue for wards voting "YES" for independence and red for those voting "NO" this is how the indie ref 2014 played out in North Ayrshire's 30 ward: 17 voted "YES", 13 voted "NO."
